Boy: \u201cLady, can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Woman: (at the other end of the phone line) \u201cI already have someone to cut my lawn.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Boy: \u201cLady, I will cut your lawn for half the price than the person who cuts your lawn now.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Woman: \u201cI\u2019m very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting the lawn.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Boy: (with more perseverance) \u201cLady, I\u2019ll even sweep the floor and the stairs of your house for free.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Woman: \u201cNo, thank you. I have someone that does a good job\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

With a smile on his face, the boy put down the phone. The store owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.<\/p>\n

Store owner: \u201cSon\u2026.I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Boy: \u201cNo thanks.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Store owner: \u201cBut you were really pleading for one.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Boy: \u201cNo Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
