The greatest achievement for me is looking a my self and growing as an individual. This has helped me to gain trust and grow relationships in the workplace with both internal and external stake holders. The course has enabled me to set goals, projects and deadlines and then lead by example to make sure everything is complete when it said it would be, or it is communicated as to why it will be late rather than it just not getting finished or followed through.

The course has been wonderful for me, the role I’m now in is a new one, and this course has shown me how to plan, manage and motivate myself and others to get the best possible result. It has taught me that if I identify my HPA’s and the amount of time working on them that I can change the portion of time spent on each relevant to the importance, also by identify the various tasks it has made me aware of what I can and have delegation, and a really big one for me has been to understand I don’t need to work long hours to do my role and do it well.

I found the time management module the most valuable and easily transferable to my everyday life, and have certainly put some of the tools into place with great success. Overall, simple and easy adjustments to my workload management have made the biggest changes, like using the discussion planner, time blocking, setting planning time, setting goals, identifying HPA’s and making Imperative / Important lists.

I did enjoy seeing the results of the team. some really excelled and all took the tools and achieved focus goals regularly. I achieved more focus goals than win win goals because of the timing of the course within my companies busiest scheduled time of the year.

I think Yvonne is a brilliant teacher she is really patient and knows what she is talking about what I learnt through the course has really helped me in my transition into management. the course overall is good like anything you get out of it what you put in. the best part of the course was looking back over it once I had finished and really taking in and looking at what I had learnt (which is a lot) I use the imperative important task list everyday, time management, communication skills I have learnt including some trivial but really helpful facts that I use in my BD. I have completed my win win goals that I have set out for the course and a couple since, I use on a daily basis focus goals.

My biggest achievement was my trip to Sydney where I met with 3 existing clients and 1 new client. I went in to all meetings with a pitch and a purpose and came out with one account placing an opening order of $10,000. 2 of the existing accounts have now introduced 6 + new items into their uniform range. I estimate this will increase their business by $10-15K per year. I have also done a proposal for Landmark- they currently have 2,500 employees- previously I would have considered this too large for me to work with, however I have done so with ease and met every deadline provided from the client. Previously I would go and see clients just to “pop in while I am in the area” now I have purpose for contact and I am seeing results from this both for myself and in sales.

The course material is great in that it is highly relevant to my position. The modules are not long which makes it easy to read and listen to the modules multiple times in a week. While the content was great, I got most benefit out of the workshops through the discussions with Suzanne and other participants.

we had an awesome facilitator which made our workshops enjoyable staying above the line at all times, I feel more organised and confident in things I do even speaking to people, I think that if you have a good personal life it shows at work, I have set time aside every week in my calendar to keep achieving my WIN/WIN goals, I think reiterating goals every week has helped me achieve a lot more then I expected
