I enjoyed every aspect of the course! I learnt a lot about not only myself but also learnt to see every aspect of the job from my management & co-workers to our clients & their objectives. Through this course we will achieve better communication & understanding especially as well as improved relations.

Definitely positive. I’ve really enjoyed the fortnightly catch up and the group discussions have been a massive advantage. Being able to talk with a group that is not involved in the politics of the workplace and share their ideas and solutions has helped me in many ways. Being shown the tools to change and benefit my team, allowing them to train, upskill and accept more responsibility – training myself to be able to let go so I can reclaim the work / life balance.

The most enjoyable part of the course for me was the time spent on Tuesdays with the rest of the class. The ideas and feedback from the other participants was great. The workplace project was a great way to identify issues within the business and how to fix the problems and implement action steps to improve productivity. I have become more confident dealing with staff members and clients .

Completing this course has allowed me to become a lot more confident in my own work abilities as I have found my strengths. I have become much more efficient in completing tasks, and starting new jobs. I have also developed new ways to organise my daily tasks so I am focusing on my HPAs instead of other jobs that are given to me by other staff. I have done this by creating a daily task list, which was one of my Win Win goals. This has been extremely successful, as my days are running much better than before.

Makes you revisit a lot of things we have learnt over the years that I thought I was doing but could be doing better. Brings to attention how we are really looking at the people we work with.

I feel we communicate better as a team and have a better understanding of each other. I give my team more detailed information and encourage them to come forward with ideas. I can manage my time better. From the workplace project I can give more detailed costs to the board in our monthly meeting.

Dealing with my team from a distance, having my team being able to identify their HPA’s, being able to ask the right questions, the value of giving positive feedback, the importance of creating a learning environment and upskilling my team, and how to form a productive team were of particular value to me. I now also have a better understanding of the companies financial reports thanks to our workplace project. overall with good planning and management skills, a more productive, safe and happy work environment workplace we will have.

As I am not a manager at present I found the application of course content to my workplace quite challenging however the learning I received during the course helped me identify failings in the way the team I am in was being managed. I was able to offer up ideas and tools which I had accumulated during this course to help improve the management approach. I have just received a promotion into a lead role and this can be largely attributed to my LMA experience.

I enjoyed so many aspects of this course including, meeting new people, sharing our stories, setting goals, accomplishing many goals, becoming more productive/efficient at work and many more. I have started up a social club at work and instigated a social netball team. I am currently improving our over budget invoice system by making my way through the action steps for this win win goal. Personally I have started up swimming training again and will be completing a ocean swim later on this year. These are only the more significant achievements from the course but there are many more.

Ross was a fantastic facilitator as he managed a group interaction process where we would bounce ideas and experiences of each other as well as Ross had a wealth of life experiences to draw from. I found one of the most profound modules was relating to the differences between Objections and Stalls. This has shed a completely new light on my interaction with prospects as I now look forward to them and working towards a resolution where as previously I would been defensive. I had a major goal resolved with the Tax Dept. that had a major impact on my finances in such a positive manner.

I have personally enjoyed the program. It has given me enormous management and sales skills which I would never of been aware of. I have become competent in using computers, managing my time efficiently by using my diary and making calendar appointments. I have developed a sales speech and have successfully delivered that speech to prospects which have ended up in lucrative sales for Syndeticom. By learning to set goals not only was I able to set professional standards for myself I was also able to achieve personal goals such as the completion of my home renovations, going on a family trip etc.. Another enjoyable aspect to this course is the networking opportunities with the other class participants, I have developed close friendships with some of my colleagues.

Easy. In 2011, we had one new customer. In 2012, we had 7! Yes, some of this was to do with the change in market, time to closure, but at least 60% was due to this course and the way that it changed me from not wanting to be a sales man, to wanting to!

understanding how much I could actually change, In the ways I was doing things, in the ways I was dealing with people in pretty much everything, putting systems in place that are measurable such as the warehouse efficiency tracker and visual tracker to see what is actually going on and why, also common offenders and shortages in some peoples skill sets being able to remove the stocktake function by creating a rolling stocktake counting the entire store in subgroups to ensure whole store is counted every two/three months@ each site and being able to track the overall result , common areas that we are having issues and why. We are currently also working on setting a KPI around the result , Putting up visual trackers with just the percentage on it weekly so all staff are engaged in trying to drive the levels higher
