I enjoyed all aspects of this course, mainly due to all course modules related to my daily work life. I have been manager of ten staff for 18 months and I new I needed to learn how to better my managerial skills. This course was just what I needed. I have achieved business goals such as managing time by using daily task list, maximising performance of my rep with weekly meetings, growing sales by visit customers and a personal goal of having a driveway installed.

While I have been in management supervisory roles for some time, this course has given me a new level of confidence and energy. I am far better focussed, organised and effective both professionally and personally. This has been a huge benefit for me leading and developing an executive management team. I have a contemporary view of the organisation’s value proposition and vision and have embraced newer technologies for planning. I have a clearer and more confident view of my role and am better able to focus on what I like best – transformational leadership – I would not have achieved without the LMA learning process and Tania’s positive and enthusiastic support which includes a very high skill level in organisational management
both personal win-win goals were achieved and my three business win-win goals are well on their way to being achieved, this was affected by me having holidays during this period ( one of my win-win personal goals ) but reduced my time to work on my business goals. These will be achieved but slightly later that originally planned. I found the tools supplied during this course to be very useful and practical and I am sure I will be using them from now on. The positivity and encouragement provided during this course has been fantastic and the fact that all of the modules are related back to your day to day work really made the whole course relevant. Thank you
I found that with each module there was content that related directly to something I was currently dealing with so each week was useful and I had the opportunity to apply the theory in the workplace. The focus goals in particular motivated me to complete what I would classify as minor tasks but had big effects on my feelings of accomplishment during the week. I have seen an increase in my productivity, my thinking around issues, particularly complex people issues is much clearer.
If anything, the course helped me to be aware of things I need to work on. Prior to the course I knew there were some areas to work on, but I didn’t know where to start. I feel now like I have the tools to improve aspects of my performance and the performance of my team. Even being aware of what I am not achieving has been helpful in understanding what needs to change and why.
I was really happy about the recognition of being selected to attend the training by my Manager and I can see how this will assist me in my role and also the leadership of our team/s. I really liked how the workshops assisted me to complete the course work and how the required work was broken down into the smaller more manageable pieces. I really like making posters and whiteboard pictures about our learning. I know that sounds funny but I do enjoy that.
The beauty of both LMA courses that I have attended is that they are not theory and examination type of courses. If you complete an LMA course and you commit yourself to it, then the result of that course will be putting you in a better place in your organisation. The assignments are actually doing your day to day job, but in an improved way. The knowledge you gain and the tools you obtain are from you improving your own productivity and that of your team. Yes it will be challenging, but the benefit is instant for both yourself and the organisation you work for. Love it, can’t wait to complete another course.

Found the course to be very beneficial and well worth putting the time and effort into.

I really enjoyed the format of this course – the weekly repetition was really helpful, and the discussions with our classmates were always lively and engaging. As someone who works remotely as a team of one, I found the chance to bounce ideas and issues off this great group of people really invaluable, and I found myself quite sad after our last Wednesday together! The tools in this course have been a great help to me in achieving more efficient remote working and better visibility with stakeholders; I have a more structured approach to communication now (thanks to the discussion and meeting planners), which means I’m more in the loop and aligned with the wider team even if I don’t see them very often. I’ve got the confidence to raise my hand when I need help, ask questions to clarify and look for feedback (instead of waiting for it), and more confidence to delegate tasks to other MCLT members where I can.

I love the fact that the course wasn’t just a one or two day course and that was it. you get to know the facilitator and course members and form great relationships. you can also go and apply what you have learnt that week in your every day life (personal and work) my biggest achievement during the course was setting a 3 month target which I achieved. achieving this resulted in me having my eye laser surgery paid for by my work which is scheduled in for beginning of august.

I haven’t achieved as many course goals as others but we have set goals to be achieved after the course as the course has fallen on a busy period so I am keen to achieve them as time goes on. Measurable results have been our toolbox meetings but they need work still. I have found the course very beneficial just in pointing out small improvements that need to be dealt with so to have them highlighted when they could continue to be overlooked has been excellent for my personal development

I think that one of the positive outcomes of the course was to relate to people from different backgrounds and from different workplaces, and how they have and use different ideas and techniques and how they implement them. I accomplished the goal of having weekly meetings with the team and asking for feedback (both positive and negative) so that we can move forward positively.

The most enjoyable part of the course was meeting a really amazing group of individuals with a common interest of leadership, learning and development. I have identified what my HPA’s are and have benefited from empowering my people. I have stepped away from the details and my team have developed by taking on the responsibility and gaining knowledge. I have learnt how to delegate effectively and am increasing my ability to manage my own “monkeys” instead of everybody else’s.
This course challenged me to the point of frustration at times but I don’t regret any second of it. It took me our of my comfort zone many times but this has been a very valuable and rewarding experience for me. My own time management skills let me down at times but now I am at the business end of the journey I am excited and quite proud of what I have achieved.
