My work place project has been the best result. I also now have better feeling about being a leader within my organisation. More in control of situations that arise and how to deal with them successfully.

I really enjoyed hearing the other participants stories from their workplace. Meeting new people and gaining confidence in a work based environment. It was good to get the positive energy from the facilitator and use that to your advantage.

The course was very informative and provided great background for many systems and processes that exist in my organisation but for which I have not previously understood the reasoning. Now having a greater understanding of the management principles involved in our organisation will help me work more efficiently within that framework moving forward. The format of the course which is weighted towards student participation was a fantastic way to learn from others experience and broaden my knowledge on a range of topics for which I have not previously been exposed. I have enjoyed the personal growth of other members within the group also, as the improvement for some in areas such as public speaking / confidence was enormous.

I accomplished 4 out of my 5 goals, it has really helped me in smart goal setting and effective delegation. Basically our whole management team is going through the course which is great as we will all be train using the same method and terminology. Blocking out the time that I spent in the workshops is good, I have continued it and I am currently using it to do an online accounting course.

Gained a definite confidence in moving forward to clearly defined goals to plan, and knowing that getting there would not be possible without effectively delegating to others. The course covered the essential elements to management and leadership in a very workable and practical way. The discussions, case studies and content was very relevant and practical. I come away from the course feeling much better equipped to manage and lead my team.

I really enjoyed the course and got a lot of benefit and tools from it. It has trained me to break down my goals and opened my eyes as to my strong and weak points which allows me to focus on the right areas. This has assisted in both personal and professional growth. We had a situation here at work, we run a telemarketing team of 8 young females and at times there can be upsets. We had a major rift come through the team which finally came to a head. using LMA tools and knowledge I had learned, I was able to handle the situation and draw many positives from the outcome. The end result was a unified team, buy-in and ownership from all members and ultimately a far more focused and productive team!

I enjoyed the LMA course especially coming to the workshop and being able to interact with the other students on how they are going and what struggles they were facing – that always helped to see other peoples point of views. a measurable result that I am pleased to say was that the state I got the warehouse to before I left and went into another role within the business I think LMA helped me to be able to manage the whole thing a lot better. the only downside was that I changed my job half way through the course and that didn’t help with completing my WIN WIN agreement goals.

I enjoyed the breaking down of a task into achievable single goals. I really enjoyed getting amongst a group of like minded individuals …….both for the training as well a the social aspect…all too often we managers are in our own little loop rather than having a diverse range of other managers to bounce things off. Our group were a quiet bunch, but the knowledge & ideas they had were great………..sometimes it was great just to hear that others have the same sort of issues that I do. I believe I have grown as a manager & an individual with thanks to this course. I particularly enjoyed goal setting as it made me think about the other tasks associated with the initial task/procedure.

I found the achievements of set goals to be very rewarding and provide a great deal of personal satisfaction both at home and work. The coarse and work place project did place a level of stress on me and at times a was pushed into areas of new learning and at time uncomfortable, however it was pointed out early on in the coarse that this is to be expected and is a part of the learning process and should be valued.

I found this course to be challenging and engaging. I have applied many new systems and processes from this course to my workplace. One of the best tools was the Change implementation planner. My staff received this very well and has created a positive attitude towards change in our workplace. Through completing my win-win goals I am using my time more effectively, delegating tasks with confidence, communicating in the workplace effectively.

During the course I gained a load more knowledge in regards to my role as a supervisor.. Great facilitator and peers
Some of the measurable results I achieved were making the team closer by starting a rotational roster for the blend rooms, therefore encouraging team members to work with others that they didn’t normally work with and also doing jobs they were not so familiar with.. I have become a much better hands on supervisor through delegation of less important tasks and working out what my high payoffs are. I am now much more focused on my high payoffs and find I have much more time to liaise with my team to ensure everything is on track as it should be.. I set a few goals (business as described above) and a few personal ones also, including getting more active in my spare time, joining coastguard, and managing to feel a lot more settled in life and utilize my time a lot more efficiently

The monthly module review meetings were definitely the most enjoyable and time worthy part of the course as you were able to share your experiences with others and they were able to share theirs with you. It was helpful for me as I have not had as much experience as many of the other participants in the management side of business. It was helpful to hear how they handled situations in their business and if a similar situation occurs in my job I will be able to use their experiences to sort the issue out. The course allowed me to identify many parts of my job that I do, that contribute to the overall success of the business, that I never knew about and concentrate more on them and to build on my weaknesses that I was also able to identify.

Must enjoyable aspect of the course was being able to hear stories, experiences and ideas of what other people do with in there own work place. Measurable results was being able to identify what my H.P.A.s where and completing all of my L.P.A.s at once. One personal goal in which I accomplished was finishing of my children’s playground at my house. ( 4 years in the making ). I no longer use paper to right down information down instead I use reminders in my I Pad.

As a new manager it was eye opening to me to actually think about the manager’s role and I think this was the biggest benefit, a new understanding of how to be effective in the role. Since completing my win-win goals I have become more organised, a better communicator, and I have a better sense of instilling positive discipline, and training within my team.
