I found the HPAs of great importance in my time management. I now feel on a daily basis that I am more focused on the priorities that are imperative. I very much like the exercise authority effectively in conjunction with now using my feed back / motivation log as a very important part of my dealings with my personal. I found the Art of Delegation very useful to adjust my goals and or objectives to be more productive.
1. The supervisory team now work a lot closer together. 2. The information sharing between each other. 3. The tools used in the course are being utilised in the workplace. 4. Our weekly toolbox meeting is now centred around reporting to each other on performance and areas are audited for conformance
The course showed me how to make time for continuous improvement projects without working any harder! Just by better organising my time.
I found that the 4 steps to Delegation for me was good, it helped me in being able to have tasks completed that by others that I would normally do myself.
Large impact of quality NCR’s Scheduling has improved Feedback to team members Standardised meetings I have taken bits and pieces out of this course and I have see a personal improvement Great course
I found this coarse very worth while for me because I am a new team leader at this company and it has defined the way I have did things in my new role. Getting to listen to all the more mature team leaders and listening to the way they run there day was very interesting. The coarse also gave me some really good ideas on how to run my day and make things easier for to run my daily role
an effective listener. Receiving formal requisitions
The course so far has taught me the value of communicating clearly with the team members and delegating low pay off tasks to team members, enabling me to work on my high pay off tasks. Having small focus goals to eventually get the win win goal achieved. The best win win goal achieved so far is the better layout of the communication board. The board details more relevant information.
being able to put in place succession plans for my team. also seeing the development of myself and my team .things like taking on challenges from a team perspective has been embraced by whole team which l thought might be an obstacle but has been a smooth transition. l think that l have achieved a level of trust and respect on a mutual level. all in all being a little bit unsure at the start of course l can honestly say that this has been one of the best things l have done and one of the most enjoyable things that l have experienced in my time at air radiators
I have learnt a great deal doing this course I enjoyed every workshop, by doing this course I better my communication gain confidence speaking in meetings ,its good because I’ve got to know to my fellow Team leader. I will continue setting goals and try to achieve it.
Well, first thing is I get to know more my co team leaders. I enjoyed listening to them on our work shop training…I have accomplish to sit and relax and let my team do the work in regards of giving them the full training…And also I’ve learn to listen more and give them chance to talk and trust them…
yes
the most enjoyable parts of the course was the classes and getting to know the other team leaders my most measurable results were with my team and getting to know them and having there respect as a team leader and in my decisions I have achieved three win win goals some personal goals the respect of my team and supervisors overall team work productivity and communications is at a high
learning how to make inroads into things that l didn’t think l could do i.e.: delegating and empowering my people
Enjoyed the course very much and learnt a lot which will be valuable to me as a team leader in the future and help me with to work better with my staff
It made me set smart goals which made it easier to achieve and reach the final goal.
the most useful outcome was realisation of time wastage, we do not realize what we are doing with time in our hands. Till we sit and calculate, since this course started I have learn how to use time at home and at work. I am planning to improve even further a plan for positive use of time. I have started and finished few projects at home using my time at home before come to work, in future I will be able to use my time more effectively once we get busy at work.
The use of the coach, mentor and facilitator method ensured better participation. The facilitation was interesting because it did not simply rehash the course material. The course material is very professionally and intelligently put together.
Doing the course work every week made me reflect on my own beliefs and sensibilities and this is always a worthwhile thing to do.

THE FACT THAT I SET SOME GOALS OR RECOGNISED THAT I DID LOSELY USE GOAL SETTING WAS ENCOURAGING. I NEED TO DEVELOP THIS A LITTLE BUT HONESTLY I HAVE BEEN MORE INVOLVED IN PERSONAL ISSUES/GOALS RATHER THAN WORK GOALS. GOING FORWARD I NEED TO CHANGE THIS AROUND BUT AM CONFIDENT THIS WILL HAPPEN. I AM STILL USING TO DO LISTS AND PRIORITISING THIS EACH DAY BUT MOST OTHER GOALS WERE BACK BENCHED DURING LARGE WORK CATCH UP AND PERSONAL GOALS AS NOTED ABOVE.

It was refreshing to see and share thoughts and stories with like minded people and it helped me to realise that I have more knowledge of leadership and the skills needed than I thought I had. It made me more self aware of my shortfalls (procrastinating) and of my strengths (listening/patience).

I was very sceptical about what the course would do for me from the overview seminar when they said I would look back and say this is the day when my life changed. It didn’t, but the course itself has given me so much in the way of what leadership qualities are and how they can be implemented, so, thank you. I inherited the job and wasn’t given much in the way of training, so this course has been invaluable. I have not only learnt how important goal setting (SMART goal setting!) and time management is, how valuable MY time is, but the basics of how a supervisor should be prioritising their day. Knowing that it’s OK to put aside the daily tasks, even to delegate them to someone else while focusing on training and planning for the whole team, is a good thing. It was good finding out that some of the things I was already doing in the team was right, and now having direction and understanding on other aspects has been a great help. Making use of some of the tools from FBOL has been great, especially the Feedback logs for each team member. The skills audit and followed by the training plan has been great – having the information set out in specific sections in all of the forms has made it really easy and logical for future use. I have kept copies of the decision planner and problem solver. I have admitted on more than one occasion that I don’t find it easy to think outside the square, so learning that change and innovation are not only encouraged, but actually mandatory for growth within a team, has been great. And learning that the team need to be involved in the decision making and brainstorming – wow! Lars has been a great facilitator – he has made each of us feel welcome, and that our opinions count, even when we didn’t quite get it right. A compliment to him that I was able to feel that I wanted to attend each session, even when I knew that we were very busy in the office, and taking another person out for an afternoon meant the team would be under more pressure.

Thoroughly enjoyed participating in this course and being challenged to put into my own words what is was that I was wanting to gain from it and how I was going to achieve it. Production turnaround times, since I have been participating in this course and used the skills that I have learnt from it my organisational level has increased and the benefit to the business has been faster production turnarounds. This was my major goal for the course as agreed with my manager /mentor who’s has been very pleased with the results that I personally have achieved and the positive changes that I made in my career.

My confidence has grown greatly and I have learnt and gained a lot of useful tools to help me development professionally and personally.
Learning about time management, HPA, and how to delegate my workload.
It took a while for me to get into the LMA way, as I had a lot of personal stuff going on but in the end I started using them as my 7 day focus goals and realised that doing a little bit at a time made huge inroads to where I wanted to go and what I was trying to do. One of the biggest things for me was realising what my Position description was and what my real HPAs were. After I did this I was able to see what tasks I could get other people to do for me to get the required result. Also being in a room full of others in similar positions to myself made it enjoyable and enlightening to know that you are not alone in the troubles you face in daily situations and having these others to throw ideas around about what you were finding difficult made it easier to understand and come up with ways of dealing with the issues.

meeting new people, time away from work to access my performance at work
The class felt like a great team environment, we had a very positive group who contributed openly and honestly which helped to make this a productive experience, This would not have been possible without the right facilitator, well done Michael. Through this course the main benefits/achievements were, 1- Improving communication within the business, proper meeting schedule with specific agendas and outcomes. 2- Improved moral through increased careful and thorough delegation of tasks, validation of staff self worth, confidence etc. 3- Above the line approach to problems and the day to day challenges, look forward and be positive as apposed to retrospectively and negatively.
